off so soon??

I just saw the new episode of Project Runway . I have to say I am a little sad to see little Miss Jennifer go so soon. Then again, if I heard her say Holly Golightly and Surrealism in the same sentence one more time, I was going hurt myself!

Her outfit was cute, I thought, but it didn't meet the whole challenge. Personally, I thought Mr. Purple Dress shoulda' been out...

Ultimately I am rooting for Leanne. She's cute as a button, and has great potential!

Now we just have to get rid of Leather, Suede, and Mr. Tan. (Can't remember all the names)

What do you think??

Paris boutique "colette" partners with GAP in NYC!

colette's website announces a partnership with GAP to create "collete x GAP" in New York City for one month!

colette

I first found out about colette from my weekly Flavorpill newsletter — a must read for those who thrive on special event information like I do. colette features the coolest & chicest toys, books, music, and art. After reading numerous posts about hard-to-find products featured at colette — I knew I had to visit! Problem was, their only location was in Paris, France. I was fortunate enough to go to Paris last fall and before visiting the Louve, the Eiffel Tower and the Catacombs — my uncompromising feet found their way to the front entrance of colette.

Soon, you too, can drool over the cool stuff from colette in New York for one month! collete and GAP will be collaborating to produce one of a kind items as well as selling items from the Paris store. If you can't make it to Paris or New York, at least pay a visit to their website. Checking out the music player on their site is well worth the visit!

colette x GAP will be located at GAP's rotating concept store adjacent to their flagship store at 54th & 5th avenue for one month — September 6th - October 5th, 2008.

au revoir!

low and behold...

I spent my morning (at work) looking at photography websites, as I am thinking about getting my own photo website started. I love Flickr, but this bag lady needs a real website!

Anywho, I stumbled upon ISU grad student Jason Reed's beautiful website, and low and behold, who do I find; our very own bag lady Christina's work under the Student Work link. BAG LADY! I didn't know!!! And your work looks beautiful on his site. A few other friends and classmates are in this section, including our buddy the talented Jacob.

Jason has a wonderful site that includes a nice portion of his work; which I think would be Social Landscape-esque. His site also contains links to other ISU grads and teachers that we so worship.

Check it out!
